Product Description
Calcium gluconate is a kind of organic calcium salt, chemical formula C12H22O14Ca, the appearance of white crystalline or granular powder, melting point 201ºC (decomposition), odorless, tasteless, easily soluble in boiling water (20g/100mL), slightly soluble in cold water (3g/100mL, 20ºC), insoluble in ethanol or ether and other organic solvents. The aqueous solution appears neutral (pH about 6-7). Calcium gluconate is mainly used as calcium fortifying agent and nutritive agent, buffer, curing agent and chelating agent in food.
